Introduction

Beer = Good Poker And Whiskey Nottingham - a few friends and a lot of beer with the occasional dram to justify the acronym. We are a Nottingham based Poker Club who meet sporadically and get leathered under the pretence of playing cards. Worship of the holy barrel courtesy of Mallard Brewery is compulsory, and if you have a vague knowledge of Texas Hold'Em that will do.

As for the future - who cares? The most important thing though is when the next opportunity to play cards, drink beer and catch up on the antics of Nurse Bibby will be.

PAWN News

Following an excellent start to the New Year with a classic in January, the next PAWN meet will be some time in March. The inaugral PAWN Club Summer Slam 2007 is on everybody's lips. A date will be finalized for this epic event sometime soon.

A Word on Beer

Sleepy Time As mentioned above it is a tradition to procure a barrel or two of quite possibly the finest beer in all the land at each of our meetings. PAWN club is proud to serve Mallard - a quality producer of real ales based in Nottingham. Mallard brews can be found at several good watering holes throughout the East Midlands and is always a regular at the Nottingham Beer Festival. Here's to Mr Phil Mallard - cheers!
