This site has had to go through a lot of poker rooms over the years due to everything from them pulling out of the USA market and refusing to pay the commissions they owe their affiliates who live in the states ... to other poker rooms not paying players in a prompt manner ... to most recently having to pull Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker from my listings because frankly I cannot condone the continued support of a place that whether it was actually involved in the cheating or not: did not do its very best to either warn people or to help with investigations into the scandal, all of which is pretty well documented on the 2 + 2 forums (link provided at bottom this page).

I suggest checking out the poker rooms which are offered at Microgaming software powered online casinos since they are going to have a fairly decent player base which is definitely a consideration when choosing a new poker room. And at least they haven't allowed you to be cheated, and then once it came to light ... allowed it to continue until the day the players expose everything ... and then dragged their feet through the whole investigation process while claiming to do all they can in the matter.

Because poker has fallen so far from my grace that I have stopped playing, and since I can't seem to offer you a list of poker rooms where I'd be risking my money ... I decided to turn the focus of the site towards Gin Rummy and Rummy but keep some of the poker up since the Microgaming powered casinos offer a poker room that has never had any big issues such as cheating, former owners or software creators being behind the cheating (that is where the evidence was pointing last I heard which admittedly has been a few days).

I remember visiting a lot of poker rooms which had only the smaller stake tables with any action and the idea of catching a sit and go was a dream for somebody smoking some really good stuff: you'd need some good weed to help pass the time waiting for the sit and go to fill up. Many times I have ended up withdrawing from the sit and go because I didn't want to be tied down to that place any longer waiting on them to find a handful of players to fill the tournament's roster.

The biggest consideration is security for your banking and personal information and Microgaming powered online casinos have excellent reputations for guarding their player's personal info (including email addresses) which is something most other casinos still seek to gain.
