The basic knowledge of every poker player is the rank of the
poker hands. For your convenience we provide you with an easy
overview.
 |
Congratulations! The highest hand
possible in poker is the Royal Flush.
Ten, Jack, Queen, King, Ace of the same suit. |
 |
The next best poker hand in poker
is the Straight Flush. Five cards in hand from the same
suit and in sequence. |
 |
The Four of a Kind. Four
cards of the same number or face value. |
 |
Three of a Kind and a Pair makes
up the Full House. If more than one player has a full
house, the full house with the highest ranking three of a kind
wins. |
 |
Five cards of the same suit but
not in order is a Flush. If there is more than one flush,
the hand with the highest card wins. |
 |
The Straight. Five cards
in sequence. Suit doesn't matter. An Ace can be used in the
highest straight (10, J, Q, K, A) and the lowest straight (A, 2,
3, 4, 5). |
 |
Three cards of the same number or
face value is a Three of a Kind. If two players have
three of a kind, the hand with the highest triple card wins. |
 |
Two pairs of 2 cards with the
same number or face value is the Two Pair. If two players
have two pair, the hand with the highest pair wins. |
 |
One Pair is 2 cards with
the same number or face value. If two players have a pair, the
hand with the highest outside card wins. |
 |
High Card. No poker
combination but still you can win if you have the highest card.
Ace is the highest. |
