Well, other than the hatred for the evening PokerHost tourny, we have had complaints that playing the PokerStars event is like watching paint dry.
Positives of PokerStars:
- The site is a Monster it isn't like to crash like many other newer sites
- 6000 people, many without a clue how to play Holdem - good chance at a nice score if you can avoid the ugly beats
Negatives:
- It's hard to get motivated to play a 6000 person marathon when there is no money and so many crazies. (sounds like AP to me)
- My Red Cat icon, isn't as lucky as it used to be, then again, it was never lucky
Potentional Replacement:
BetFred Sunday 2:30pm $1k (1000 Max Players)
Positives:
- It's a relatively soft crowd and it pays pretty deep
Negatives:
- it is seriously feeling growing pains already. Likely to get some of the same reactions as Phost
Anyone have any opinions? _________________ Masters Student - Omaha Hi/Low

LEAVE POKERSTARS ALONE!!!
This comes up again and again. I like the PS freeroll. Nothing like a 6k entry tourney to test longevity poker, lol. BetFred is filling up fast these days. Let's not forget Absolute for some freerolls also.
PokerStars never has server problems, never has connection problems, and is a GREAT test for any freeroll poker player. As has been seen with other sites, server problems wreck a schedule, causing problems for all. While frustrating at times, smart playing with proper starting hands will prevail. Patience and discipline are all that is needed to get a great finish. |

I would vote for keeping Stars... it is an easy score if you just show a little patience.....
BetFred.... ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! This is a sister site of Fair Poker and CD Poker.... all three have been having serious issues as of late.... You think people got riled about the Poker Host tourney??? hehe....You aint seen nuttin yet!! BetFred is having these kind of problems every single day...... it is constantly crashing and it is just, in my opinion, very very crappy software...... Supposedly, they are going through a software upgrade... but if I were them, I woulda already fired whoever they hired to do the so called "upgrade" cause it is more of a downgrade with all the havoc it is reaking....... _________________ My family puts the "fun" in dysfunctional |

| what i say most likely won't change anything but pokerstars is a 4+ hour marathon for practically nothing. I do enjoy the large fields and consistent software. AP remains consistent as well and offers you a better chance at money. I wouldn't say lose pstars but I do believe we play their 4 to 5 times per month. It's a pretty easy shot at a high score but I won't cry if I miss it. |

| I was one of PokerStars biggest advocates. That being said, we are cutting back on playing there. Instead of 2/3/4 times a week from now on you will see it at most once. |

I for one really like the fact that we are mixing the schedule up a little bit. It had definately become repetitive. I think that shaking it up a little is going to be a great thing. Variety is, after all, the spice of life! _________________ My family puts the "fun" in dysfunctional |

Mine did that once... but it only lasted like a couple hours.... then it was fine again and I have never had a problem since. _________________ My family puts the "fun" in dysfunctional |

| So maybe your pic was offline a while, I mean in your account it will switch and you have to go in and replace it again. |
