I know we have had a lot of discussions about Jetset tournies filling very quickly and that we should find something new, but Jetset does supply this league with a lot of free money.
They seem like conflicting points of view to try and figure out a solution... well here is a thought.
Instead of moving away from where we play at today, as they are quality sites. How about switching the order on these things. Use the Jetset AM (EST) tournies that give out GoPoints in the early slot and move Absolute to the Prime time slot. I haven't looked at either of these slots to see how they fill up, but Absolute has to be a slower fill than Jetset in prime time... and I would guess that you get more than just one heartbeat to click during at the wee morning hours on Jetset.
Anyone play these events normally to give an opinion?

Haven't been up late enough to play in one of the wee morning hour tourneys in quite some time, but I know that it used to be that the JS games in that time slot didn't fill up quite so fast..... It could certainly be something to look into. Maybe there is someone in the league that doesn't have to be up at 5 am like I do and can maybe observe the 1 or 2 am JS tourneys this week and see how fast they fill up.......

| I often play the late night/early morning JetSet tourneys and they do not fill up nearly as fast and sometimes don't even fill. Obviously the reason for the lower entrants is the later time slot and also that the payout is only GoPoints. This would be an excellent alternative to allow JetSet to still be used. I don't know if Absolute has freerolls in the prime time slots when we usually play JetSet. Great idea MainStick. |

We have actually been working on switching the schedule around in this way. I am still working on getting all the server issues corrected and getting the site the way I want it. This is a doable thing and I will see how quickly I can get something going.
