time zones

In the profile it shows GMT and plus and minus. If I am in EST do I add or subtract and by how many hours? Is GMT general mountain time? How about a hand.

I'm in Toronto which is EST and my timezone is -5 gmt. Hope this helps!

Thanks for letting me know. I realized after I typed my message that instead of thinking north america I should look outside the box. It wasnt mountain time but it must be english and so grenich means time.
