Ok. First, I will begin by saying that Omaha Hi/Lo has completely replaced my Holdem ring gaming. I found the secret of gold mining this game!
First! Make sure you are a real sissy and only limp into your pots! Next, make sure that you have a seven in your hand. If you don't have a seven, don't play the hand!
Acceptable hand:
UNACCEPTABLE (BAD CUZ IT HAS NO 7) HAND:
HANDS TO WATCH OUT FOR:
Ok, now get on your hands and knees and do some juju. The walls will start rattling and some glass will break, ignore that part. Then comes the flop, which you need to hit for this to work, by the way. When you hit the flop, do some more juju and make someone completely flip out and do something totally random and unnecessary. Slow-play it, and just hope to squeeze as much as you can!
Then blindly go all-in on the river, having relied on your great deeds in a past life, and get what God has owed you for a long time by you being paid off just by the sheer 2-card draw coincidence, along side with someone's stress coming to a screaming climax, and you get:
There are a couple of other strategies, besides the "7 or fold" one to keep in mind. One thing I suggest you do, is after you lose a pot from making a bad call, you should ALWAYS steam and re-raise people that have hands that dominate you before the flop.
Then, hit the miracle, and just about only winning flop again (because that's so easy with 4 cards!) and start betting the pot, and people will call because they know you are steaming! Dodge a couple of cards, and you've just turned that steaming frown upside-down, and now someone else is steaming.
Next session I will cover the "2222" strategy which involves adding some more deuces to the deck when people aren't looking.
ok thx bye! _________________ I've got the nuts it takes to win.
Sound a little risky to me, in that most people know that the Aces are the key cards in this game, but then that's just my opinion. _________________ All that glitters is not Gold!!

(Psst, the whole thing is a joke)
Although I'd much rather have an A233 or A223 or something like that usually. That's just a personal choice, it may not be the conventional one, but I've noticed that if I don't hit with this hand, it is easy to discard. Also, if my lo gets ruined, there is either a back up, or I just hit a set.
I love aces, but only if I hit them on the flop, or maybe heads-up. _________________ I've got the nuts it takes to win.

The limping in on hands is right but I like to make at least a small raise because people will play anything and there are definitely certain starting hands which are more likely to win. I do love the paired aces but they lose as often as win. A great starting hand in the hi/lo version is a fistful of low cards, no pairs. Suit is totally irrelevant in this case, suited is worse, it can suck you into trouble! All ins are not recommended but with a big stack of chips it sure is fun!
Good luck tonight all, I will try to make the game. _________________ AKA AlienSorrow. PiRaNhA at CD Poker.

Gin hands (pair and a connector or two to it) are good but not as great in Omaha as in Gin. You can get in trouble with a set because people love to fish for the straights. If I get a suited ace, I'm most likely going to play the hand. Straights are nice but they are weak in either version of Omaha due to the likelihood of a flush. Just some thoughts. _________________ AKA AlienSorrow. PiRaNhA at CD Poker.
