There are some days like today, that you just can't win no matter what you do.
You play all the right cards and toss all those 69os or 58os but others keep them and when you have a set of J's they river you with a straight.
But in the end hopefully you will win out. example:
Today there was a tourney in which you got into by qualifing with a top 10 finish during the week. Aprox 60 entries and aprox 20 showed up to play. I was at a table with 9 players, 6 were P&F. 1 got knocked out quickly so we were heads up with the others in P&F. I watched I finally realised that this other player never folded a hand. And when I actually did play, they had good cards, so I figured I still would wait. Finally I got the cards and bet, end result, received most of their chips, the ones that they got by playing every hand. I still can't play garbage, it makes the game no fun. I like to be proud of my poker playing.
Once I had AA, Raised blind 2 call, 592 rainbow flop, I bet, 1 call. 8d. Bet 1 call, 5h. I bet and get reraised. I call he has a full house. 55599. When I stopped shaking I asked why he played a 59os with a raise. He said it was his birthday today, he was 59. I was lucky for him. Oh well, cant beat that for playing a hand.
