Wondering if anything could be done to get some private freerolls going on some of these sites. AP has tons of restricted ones. Forgive me if I've missed any of this being discussed before, but I'm rather new. I was just disappointed with the quality of some of the league games being freerolls, namely the limit Holdem on AbsolutePoker. Hard to judge someone's skill by whether or not they can survive that.

they had a room that you could access from the main page but its gone..i found it to be kinda fun. I would love to mix it up with fpl players in some single table holdem. I would say though that if a player can survive a 2000 person tournament at ap, you cant say it was done on luck alone and you can be a pretty decent judge of that person's skill in my opinion but I will say I get a lot of very questionable calls late in those kinds of tourneys.

Outlasting any field of 2000 is unquestionable. Even if you ran lucky a bunch of times you had to play at least 10 or 20 hands right. My point is that it is harder, because like you I've had some extremely bad calls thrown my way and been KO'd for them.

But what do you do when you have AA and there are 6 people all-in? The field is so thick with bad players that will call all your chips on bellybusters, etc, and god let's not mention limit anymore.

More private tournaments would allow for little interference from a crowd of cattle. If I understand correctly, I know there are some FPL only games which look like they're great. But with every other freeroll league and their mother on AbsolutePoker with private tournaments, is it possible to get our own?

I don't mind the mix-up and having to chew through the huge fields. I find that my game improves way more against like 2000 people as opposed to a few hundred, but who is really going to place in things like limit holdem, 7-stud, etc, in a public freeroll FULL of inexperienced players who will dominate the flow of the game with their clumsiness?

If you do it, which I'm sure we all have at some point, congratulations, but some of the best players are going to be held down in tournaments like this. I'm not speaking for myself, I'm speaking for everyone... I'm not criticizing, I think this site is awesome so far, it's all I could have hoped for. Just see lots of privates on AP and other sites.
