May have missed it but don't recall seeing this subject. Most may already know this but for those that don't, when involved in a hand that goes to showdown, even if you fold before the river, you are able to see the other players cards that were involved even if they muck.
This may be useful information seeing what cards others are playing. Why AP allows this i don't know, but until they fix it take a peek and you may learn something about your adversary.

I don't think it's a bug. Many sites use it as an extension of the rule where you are allowed to see anyones hand if it goes to showdown (even if they try to muck it).

The general theory is to help detect people who are cheating by playing together. Since it is even more likely to see this happen online, I think just seeing the flop is a good reason to be able to see the cards. There is no MUCK to drag them out of to try and discover their identity.

The downside is that people who are willing to put forth the effort may learn more about how you play from this than they normally would if they just were lazy and watching the few hands you do turn over.

Personally, I was not aware that AP was showing all hands that saw the flop. I will have to check this out and see what I can learn about some of you scary players out there.

Well you got me thinking Stick, and after further review i believe you do have to be involved to the river.

I am looking at it and it doesn't show the hands that are mucked either.

Trying to see if it shows you any hands that didn't get displayed but went to showdown... not sure you get to see those either.

I saw mucked hands on the river a few days ago. However in tournaments I haven't been able to see. I'm not sure if that's because it was changed or whether it's something not done for tournaments. I suppose collusion is less likely to happen in a tourney, because of the random seating. Hellmuth mentions something about this in his online poker play strategies I believe, so it might be worth checking out on many sites...

that could be the clear distinction.

Rings games versus Tourny games could be the reason why you don't see the mucked hands.
