To respond to your comment about the blue lizard lounge, good site, but they have all of the freerolls , really late at night. In addition, that site is great, for "new players" if you will. Many members on this site are, well quite good. I am not a fan to the blue lizard lounge!!!

I know I havent exactly been here the longest for my 2nd tour... but I do have one thing to say about this entire thread.. people asking to have the schedule changed and complaining about not reading the rules and requirements... lets for instance say you wanted to join ANY type of league in your hometown.. as Des said 9pin, or pool league, dart league.. they all have some form of rules and regs.. would you want them to change their schedule to suit you as well? I doubt it as you joined the league to have fun at the events THEY have already prescheduled... it is a matter of knowing your OWN limitations and being able to cope with a already PRESET schedule of which if you dont like then dont join.. sorry if I am out of line...

The schedule is great exactly as it is. Don't change a thing!! It's fair for everyone just as Wayne explained. The man knows what he's doing.

well how could i have "tried" your schedule when not a single game scheduled is during my "offtime"? no one is asking you to jump anytime someone asks you to and no one is asking you "change" anything either. just to expand some. and maybe add a little more flexibility for the all people who have a life and to work to for a living to have the chance to play every once in a while too.

guess what? this is the INTERNET! and it IS NOT in your hometown nor mine nor anyone else's. the point of of creating any virtual entity is so that it might me accessible to everyone from anywhere at any time. if you want to limit your league to people in your local geographical area only then why don't you just state that on your front page, point blank, and let the rest of the world know that they are not welcome here.

The schedule is set to allow as many people that can play at our scheduled times, regardless of their geographical location. Asking us to expand so you can play in your off time IS asking us to change to meet your schedule. Unfortunately for you, this is our hometown and you must abide our rules, regulations, and schedules. The point of this particular virtual entity is to allow those people that wish to play poker in a competitive league situation and that have the ability to play in the schedule that we set - a place to do so.

I have already suggested that you move on – you might want to check the INTERNET to other leagues. Additionally, I would also suggest that if you can’t find a league that can accommodate your off time schedule, that you create and run your own league. Perhaps once you have been privy to the time that it takes to schedule league games, verify submitted results, post scores, update your website, communicate with others in the community, and deal with the demands that you accommodate every person’s schedule that feels entitled to enter a community but play by their own rules, you will have a better understanding and appreciation of what we are doing.

If at some time in the future your schedule allows you to join this league and participate according to its rules, you are more than welcome here. Until such time that you can accept the rules of the organization that you are trying to join, take your sense of self-entitlement elsewhere.

ONE MORE TIME, you have no clue. The schedule is not for any one location and unless you work 2 2/3 shfits a day, you lie, you could make a game in a play day.

Now as for entertaining your B.S., You call me a cheat one more time and I'll consider that a challenge against me and my character. You ready to duel?

How could you have tried anything in 10 minutes??? You signed up for the league and then 10 minutes later went off on our schedule, probably without even knowing what our schedule was.

Hmmmmmm............ so none of us that are active and the ones who run this place don't have a life or have to work for a living???? Um, did you miss my first post??!!!! I work a full time job, I have 2 very young children, I have a husband, a home to clean, dishes to do, laundry to do, dinner to cook.......... Again, need I go on?

All of our admin staff have jobs, run businesses, have families, have other things going on in their lives that they need to take care of. Do you even have a clue as to what it takes to run a poker leuage? Making the schedule, checking results, figuring scores... all the things that Des mentioned..... People do not seem to realize that the more tournaments there are for people to play, the more man power and time it takes to update everything....... ALL OF OUR STAFF IS COMPLETELY VOLUNTEER!!!!!! THEY GIVE OF THEIR TIME FREELY WITHOUT ASKING FOR ANYTHING IN RETURN!!!!! I'm not sure if some of y'all understand this fact....... They all give a very large portion of their time to this league. With no compensation. Is it really fair to ask them to give up more when they already do so much for us?

For you to suggest that the rest of us do not have to work for a living or do not have a life is more proof of your "satisfy me" attitude, and the fact that you apparently believe the world revolves around you and your life.

Last time I checked, FreePokerLeague IS accessible to everyone from anywhere at anytime. Our schedule may not fit perfectly into everyone's life, but that is not the point of this league. It is most certainly NOT required of any private group to meet the needs of everyone in the world. And that IS what this is.... A privately owned group designed to be a gathering place for people with a common interest. And it is not in any way limited to people in one geographical area...... That is actually laughable..... We have members from Canada, from England, from Thailand, as well as all over the US. And everyone is welcome here........ unless of course, they make themselves unwelcome.......

This topic sure is stirring up some responses. I think we discussed the time last year since there was some question to playing in lower traffic times was an advantage or not. I think the powers that be explained that most of the scores that were posted came from the evening games. They are about 12 of them a month so that should allow anyone to get five scores and probably five good scores. I myself have not posted a score from the late night games in several weeks. I still have been able to make the top 50. There are also the afternoon games on Saturday and Sunday so that would be about 8 more games to post scores from.
I play in some other leagues as well and this is by far the easiest to post scores in. I guess everyone just wants to have it "thier way" Is that Burger King's motto? Someone ought to know that answer. Am I rightr BKbecca?

Unless you come to the one in Payette..... Then the motto is "This is Becca's Burger King so you get it her way or no way!!" Wink Wink Wink Kinda works the same way here...... except I'm not the boss here, so it get's to be Wayne's way...... Wink Wink

Or............ we could always adopt the motto my District Manager has...... "For an extra $50 you can have it any way you want!!"
