Heads up folks

Hi,

Just thought you all should know. We have a 13 year old child playing here, gampanat. He told me himself ( i wish he hadn't). I found it very disturbing. I may have to leave you all because of it.

This is unfortunate. The fpl does not condone underage gaming (by US standards) and we are forced to say goodbye to Gampanat. This is not the first person who has come to the fpl that was underage and in every instance we have asked that person to leave. That is the case this time as well. The amazing thing to me is that a 12 year old kicked so much ass.

I've known this for some time but personaly did not have a problem with it, but i do understand why it would bother some people.

To Gampanat, your a very good player at such a young age, guess we should credit your father for being a good teacher. Stay sharp, put on a few years, then come back and kick some real serious ass.

It's gambling. It's not boozing and smoking crack. Do you honestly think it's harmful for a kid to play poker? I joined this site when I was underage. Why do you care what he chooses to do?

Honestly, all the members of the morality police are what's wrong with America. It doesn't effect you so why do you care?

I have no problems with it.I was goona finish playing here anyway next month.
Michman have reported me to Jetset and I got a email from them asking for an explanation etc.
Well cu all later at Jetset where I will continue playing under my name Gampanat no matter what Michman think or wants.

I have erased the POY points that no-one else wanted to run and that Desdinova anyway says nobody are interested in.
I am sure many players have some nots from the POY standing and maybe are interested to continue the work.

I don't think it'so much a problem with the fact gampanat is underage, but that when you sign up at any poker site, they specifically ask you your age. JetSet could stop supporting the league if they found out, and we would lose our freerolls.

Personally, I will miss him. He was a really good player and tough to beat. But rules are rules, no matter how sillly or cruel they may seem.

Well thank you Mad_K_9. You have always been my Mentor and I have learned alot from your way of playing.
But as I said,cu all at Jetset.

By the way,this started 2 days ago when I won a Rebuy tourney at Jetset
and 25 dollar and Michman went out before the money and I was kind to send him 5 dollar and also reveale my age.

He sent them back and also awarded it with a letter to Jetset (hmm is this
a typical American behaviour).No I dont think so.

Now I have a problem. When someone comes in and says I want to help out the league by maintaining some sort of stat and then when something doesn't go the way they would like it - they come in here and delete something that they have given to the league. This beavior is immature at best and I find it unacceptable. I asked Gamp to leave the league yesterday and I tried to do this in a way that was fair to him. Instead of leaving, he came in and deleted data.

And just like those before him who deleted data from the league, he will be banned from ever playing here again.

I would like to hear from the rest of the members concerning the poy. If you feel it was a good thing, a bad thing, or an indifferent thing, pm me or email me and let me know what you think. We can retrieve the data and continue or let it die.

Deleting files, post, data, etc from the forum is unacceptable, PERIOD. Like others who did this, he should be banned, PERIOD.

As for the POY thing, lame idea at best, let's get rid of it. It meant nothing anyway.

Good luck in the future, I see a WSOP on the horizon. But rules and laws exist for a reason like it or not. Without them you have chaos. As for deleting the POY, not cool. The league treated you well.

As for threeup3down and your morality police statement all I can say is good god, I hope you are not the future of America. Because that attitude will destroy any society.

As I sit and eat my dinner and read these posts.... I laugh. 1st of all, if I had 25-30 at bats to hit a homerun I would surely hit 5 of em (anyone of you could also). But I dont, I only have 10-12 at bats. And 2nd, the issue had nothing to do with the league. The only reason I posted this was to inform my fellow leaguemates. I did not report gamp because of his standings, I did it because it was the right thing to do. Period. Wrong is wrong is wrong no matter how you slice it. And 3rd, I had nothing to do with Des' decision to ban gamp.

There are legal reasons why most sites have strict underage player policies. Wait until you have children of your own and some of you may understand why. It's not rocket science though.
