Take 10 with Bubba Dan
Vol 1 # 10

The next FPL’er I am going to interview is Jason2Toes. He is always super tough in the Omaha Weds game, and seems to win more than his share, lol. He has schooled me more than once, that’s for sure. Jason is always working on the FPL site, trying to make it better and easier to use. His hard work is not usually noticed, but he is always tinkering, tweaking, and generally making the FPL THE best forum going, bar none! Let’s get to know Jason2Toes better.

1-How long have you been playing on-line poker?
A- I have been playing poker pretty much all my life (stud, blackjack, etc.). However, I only have been playing Holdem and Omaha a little over 2 years now. I learn how to play them from strictly online poker. I have now worked into trying B&M tourneys. If it wasn’t for FPL, co-administrating, I wouldn’t be where I am in playing online poker today.

2-How many poker sites do you have downloaded, and how many of these do you play on a regular basis?
A- Currently I happen to have at least 9 poker programs on this particular pc.
1. Absolute Poker
2. Bet365
3. Can Bet Poker
4. Full Tilt
5. JetSetPoker
6. Poker Champs
7. Poker Host
8. Poker Stars
9. World Poker Exchange
I have a few computers, so there are more, I am just not currently sure of the other 2 that are here. I play anywhere from 4 to 5 on a regular basis. Some for league purposes, others because they are nice fishing spots.

3-Which one is your favorite poker site and why?
A- The one I play at the most, hands down, which at times, is not my favorite site, is JSP. However, one of the ones I consider a favorite, which shut down awhile back, was Platinum Poker Club, because they made me the most money in the shortest time. I like AP and Bet365 because if they are played right, they are good ATM’s, as is JSP.

4-Do you prefer multi-table tournaments, ring games, or sit and go's?
A- I do best in and prefer multi-tables, use ring for promotional points and chip stacking through fishing, and sit and goes for friendly socializing.

5-Besides No Limit Holdem, what is your favorite poker game?
A- Omaha High/Low. No other Surprised)

6-Besides the obvious high pocket pairs and big slick, what is your favorite hand to play?
A- 69 suited, suited connector, mid range cards, most all PP’s depending on raising pre-flop.

7-What advice do you have for players just starting out in on-line poker?
A- Beside the obvious of learning the game and who you play with as best as possible, I believe a lot of online poker is based around betting patterns, depending on the community. Learn table rhythms, how and when you should bet, how much to get them to fold, if and when to check raise depending on how they play, bluffing all the time never works, you need cards to bet, or you will get caught.

8-What is the biggest mistake you most often see players make in on-line tournaments?
A- Go all-in too early, either pre-flop w/ AK, AQ, AJ, or get top pair syndrome and ignore the other possible hands out there and bets too strong while trying to slow play and get chased or check raised out.

9-Besides Bubba Dan of course, who do you consider one of the best on-line players?
A- pkioke-JSP name. He was the best around playing me on rings and what not on JSP as I learned the game.

10-What do you do when you are not playing on-line poker? Tell us a little about yourself?
A- At the time I started playing online poker, I was, and still am, working with Wayne on web-site design, administration and other various required roles. I was going to school for an Associates degree in Computer Applications Technology, I completed my degree August 20, 2005 Surprised) from National College of Business and Technology (used to be Kentucky College of Business), now getting back into the work force while looking to continue my education towards programming w/ various platform and web based languages to back the creation and growth of my own business, one day.

FPL 4 LIFE BABY!!!!!
